Katie has always had a passion for the human body and physical performance. Before becoming an RMT she studied Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley, and worked in the fitness industry for 10 years. After suffering a shoulder injury from a car accident in 2016, she fell in love with the rehabilitation process, and the art of massage therapy. In 2019 she graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy.
Over the years Katie has gained extensive knowledge, and practical experience of massage therapy techniques including; sport-specific, deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, joint mobilization, myofascial release, and IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization).
Katie will also provide you with patient education, rehabilitative exercises, and effective home care strategies for long lasting results.
